The architecture of the house is Dutch colonial style, its architecture with mysterious eye-shaped windows give it a great personality. With its creepy exterior presence and interior details it was designed as a complete STL miniature kit with its parts suitable for FDM 3D printers. Its design allows the flexibility to print in a variety of popular scales – 15mm, H0 (1/87), 20mm or 28mm (the most popular tabletop scale).

The Amityville House is a famous and haunting residence located in Amityville, New York. The DeFeo family was a seemingly ordinary family living in this house in the early 1970s. However, their lives took a tragic turn on the night of November 13, 1974.

Ronald DeFeo Jr., the eldest son of the family, committed a heinous crime that shocked the community. That night, at 3:15 a.m., Butch DeFeo Jr. armed himself with a .35 Marlin rifle and murdered his entire family as they slept in their beds. After the murders, Ronald DeFeo Jr. claimed that he was compelled to commit the crimes by mysterious voices he heard in the house. He alleged that the voices belonged to evil spirits that inhabited the house and ordered him to kill. DeFeo’s defense attorney used this allegation to defend his insanity during the trial.

A year after the DeFeo family tragedy, the Lutz family moved into the Amityville Murder House. George and Kathy Lutz, along with Kathy’s three children from a previous marriage, experienced disturbing and frightening occurrences during their 28-day stay at the house. Paranormal phenomena such as strange smells, disembodied voices, levitating objects and eerie changes in the appearance of the house occurred. One priest witnessed a swarm of flies on his face in the middle of winter and even suffered physical injuries. These incidents formed the basis of the bestseller “The Amityville Horror,” written by Jay Anson.

Their story became the basis for numerous books and moviesThe Amityville House continues to be the subject of fascination and speculation, and captivates those intrigued by the supernatural. Its story has been engraved in the history of popular culture and the building has become a worldwide icon of the horror genre.
