Ghosthunters Basement

This model belongs to the Kickstarter project –Ghosthunters Firehouse NYC–

The Firehouse, Hook & Ladder Company 8 – is an active fire station of the New York Fire Department (FDNY). Its exterior has become famous for its appearance in the supernatural comedy franchise Ghostbusters. It was chosen as headquarters for the famous Ghostbusters in the 1984 movie. 

The Firehouse is located at 14 North Moore Street, at its intersection with Varick Street, in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan.

It is a small building, withthree high floors and basement, the two upper ones covered with red brick. It is separated from the rest of the buildings on its block by a narrow fenced alley that surrounds it.

Every year the -Ghostbusters Day in NYC– is celebrated and the streets of Tribeca are filled with hundreds of fans. Last June 8th the 40th anniversary of the Ghostbusters movie was celebrated there. Spectacular!

• Easy to print. In 28mm scale (1:56), each house piece is smaller than 22 cm
  In 20mm scale (1:76) each house piece is smaller than 16,2 cm

In the photos and videos the real model has a scale of 20mm.
